Precipitation: something to think more about.
The parts of your art that that keep raining, falling, or whirling, for no good reason - ones that refuse to lay down, even when you have every reason to let them go, think they are superfluous - those are messages, maybe not for now, but for later.
I have a feeling that what we are doing when we make art or rhymes is unwinding the yarn, thread, ribbon, toilet paper - then rewinding it back the other way on its ball, spool, coil, or roll.
